some moments from the last gathering. same time next month? 🕊️ surface stories, vol. 2. before the printing press, books were made entirely by hand. the calligrapher wrote the text and then a separate artist painted the borders. this art is called tezhip, from the arabic word for gilding. patterns were drawn, t tickets are now live for our foil embossing workshop, in collaboration with @lahoreheritageclub 🪷 we are so thankful for the positive turnout and excitement with the first run, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us as we continu a recap from the last session 🤍🕊️ thank you to everyone who joined for always bringing good vibes and an open mind to learn something old and something new.
